Zimmermann is a Canadian wholesaler and retailer of high-quality German gifts and toys. We ship all over Canada and the US and have exclusive selling rights in Canada for some of our product lines.

Shipping Policies

We ship orders within Canada via Canada Post expedited service. Below is a table of our shipping rate and delivery times. Oversized or overweight items may be subject to additional shipping fees.

Canada: Retail orders shipped to major Canadian destinations

Express and Priority orders must be placed and confirmed before 10 a.m. PST to be shipped the same business day. We generally ship orders within two days of receiving them.

Orders sent via Canada Post expedited service or FedEx ground service are issued a tracking number that is sent to you via email. In the case that you are not home, carriers will leave instructions on how to arrange for another delivery or where to pick up your parcel. A signature may be required for some orders. If picking up your order at a post office, you may need identification.

How are sales tax calculated?

Orders shipped to BC will be taxed 5% GST and 7% PST. All other provinces in Canada are subject to 5% GST.

Orders shipped to the US may be subject to import duties and taxes. Zimmerman German Gifts and Toys does not collect and cannot estimate duties and taxes. If you do incur these additional fees, a customs invoice may arrive with the package or may follow in the mail. You will be responsible for any additional fees. For more information, please contact your local customs office.

Returns and Exchanges

We proudly stand behind our collectible gifts and toys. Therefore, we offer customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 10 days upon receipt of your order. Items returned must be in new, unused condition in their original packaging, including all accessories (and certificates for the dolls).

You will be refunded the cost of the product only (shipping costs are non-refundable). Additionally, all shipping to return the product is at the purchaser’s expense—unless we made an error in order processing or shipping.

We strongly recommend that you insure the package for protection against loss or damage and ship it prepaid to the following address:

We will notify you upon receipt of your package and will issue credit in the amount of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges, on the same credit card as used in the original purchase. Please allow at least 21 business days from the date of return for the credit to be processed.

Liability

Zimmerman German Gifts and Toys is not liable for damages incurred from the purchaser’s improper usage or from natural wear and tear.
